Vineyard: Hills in the Illasi Valley, tuffaceous and alluvial soils, with stratified calcareous marine rocks; south-westerly exposure.
Types of grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina.
Drying: Dried for approx. 90-120 days.

Colour: deep ruby red with garnet highlights
Bouquet: spicy and typical.
Flavor: full, warm and velvety, slightly toasted on the finish.
Alcohol content: 16 % Vol.
Serving suggestions: Grilled meats, roasts and game; very mature and sharp cheeses. A “meditation wine”.
Serving temperature: 20° C
